 the statement is true . a female has XX chromosome whereas a male has XY chromosome it means that half of the sperms have X chromosome were other half have Y chromosome during fertilization female donate only X chromosome and male donates either X or Y chromosome if male donate X then the baby is girl and if y then baby is a boy . so it depends  upon  chance

Yes it is correct because during sexual intercos Ygamate gets fuse with X gamate released by female  then coule will give birth to male child· & if X gamate of male fuses with X gamate released by female than they will give birth to female child· Hence their is an equal chances that couple will give birth to male or female child·                 ·
