1. Unipolar neuron is the neuron which has only one protoplasmic process extending from the cell body. Eg - sensory neuron
2. Bipolar neuron is the neuron which has two cell processes that arise from the cell body. One of then serves as dendrite and other as axon. Eg - found in specialized organs like eye.
3. Multipolar neuron is the neuron which consists of single axon but many dendrites. Eg - found in majority of neurons in brain and central nervous system
