Verate is no such word in English language but it can be described as 'in excess or hype'. It is used as a verb generally and used as 'OVERATE' or ' PERSEVERATE' or ' ASSEVERATE'.
Eg. 'She overated the capabilities of her daughter.'
The patient perseverates though he could follow simple commands.
