1) diseases spread quickly.
2) diversity of species is less (not good for bio diversity)
3) different types of plant has different nutrients of one type of crop would mean that the land the plant planted is exhausted of certain nutrients.
4) when certain nutrients is less the land becomes less fertile.
5) then for the next batch of crop the farmer has to go with fertilizers to replenish the soil which have more sideeffects.
