A wire in the form of a rectangle of sides 6 cm and 4 cm is reshaped into a sector of a circle of radius 5 cm.  Find the angle of the sector in radians and degrees

Answer :

Wire length = perimeter of rectangle = 2 * (6+4) = 20 cm
So Sector length = 20 cm, as perimeter of rectangle now becomes the arc / sector.

But sector length = Radius R * arc angle in radians, Ф
         20 cm = 5 cm  *  Ф  => Ф = 4 radians    =  4 * 360 / 2 * 3.14  degrees
                       as 2 pi  radians = 360 degrees ie., a full circle.
please calculate the result.
