the latitudes are responsible for the teperature ,length of day and night ....the rays of the sun fall directly over he equator ..so the temperature there is very high ...during the months of april .may .june the sun moves towards the tropic of cancer in the N.hemisphere....the rays of the sun are direct and so the temp increases there causing summer in the N hemisphere and winter in the S hemisphere.even the days are longer in the N hemisphere.......
but during the months of november.december and january..the sun moves towards the tropic of capricorn in the S.hemisphere...so the rays fall directly over there..increasing the temp. there..thus causing summer in the s hemisphere and winter in the N.hemisphere..the days are shorter during this time in the N hemisphere.and longer in the S.hemisphere.
