does the mode change if another observation is added to the data?? comment.
help me :(

Answer :

Mode is defined as the highest number of times a number occurs in the data.It depends on the data which is present with is .The mode may or may not change according to the new observation that is added .
For example
We have data
3,5,5,7 suppose 4 is added
There is no change in mode
5 will be mode
But if we have
3,4,5,6 now we have add 6
The new mode will clearly be 6
In statistics Mode is defined as the n.o which occurs the maximum number of times or the one which has the maximum frequency. The mode may or may not change if another observation is added to the data, there can be different instances. For example a set of ungrouped data 90,91,91,91,95,96 has 91 as mode suppose we add any n.o say 96 the mode remains unchanged
now take a second case where data is 18,17,16,15,14 it has no mode but if we add 18 to the data mode becomes 18
