Present age of son-10 and

this is because :-
let sons age be x
fathers age is 4x
after 5 yrs
sons age- x+5
fathers age is 4x*3+5
so,
present age- 4x*3+5= x+x+5
=12x+5=2x+5
= 12x-2x= 5-5
= 10x=0
so, x=10
so fathers age is 4*10= 40
