hmm a modern playground atmosphere..... 1st thing it should of a huge one like a minimum of 5 acres .
2nd thing it should play friendly with a side for small kids with lot of cool stuff like slides,swings,monkey climbing etc
3rd think if the ground is filled up with very short grass it will be good or like if people fall down they get hurt when it is just muddy and stuff.
4th thing as coming to children above 5 years and till 18 or 20 , the ground should contain a net cricket (only the net) a basketball court,tennis poles for keeping net,football (goal post's)
