t = ?

s = ut+1/2at2

20 = 0 ×t + 1/2 ×10 ×t2

20 = 0+ 5t2

t2 = 4

t = 2s

v = u + at

= 0 + 10 × 2

= 20m/s

OR

v2 = u2 + 2as

v2 = 0 + 2 ×10× 20

v2 = 400

v = 20 m/s

The ball will strike the ground after 2 sec with the velocity of 20m/s.
