There are some worksheets where we need to check any word which is transitive or intransitive please explain thoroughly

Answer :

If a verb is followed by the object of the verb directly and immediately, then it is a transitive verb.  If the verb has an object for the action of the verb, then it is a transitive verb.

Intransitive verb does not have an object for the verb.  Intransitive verbs will have a preposition or another word in between the noun and verb.  It could be "to" or "at".
