Dear sir,
this letter intends to bring your kind attention to the unimaginable harassment commuters face in our colony due to frequent power cuts  We know that number of people  rising in the cities is on and that there is no proportional increase in no. of your branch. So,power cuts are bound to happen. But they do not intend to disturb you with things that do not have an immediate solution.
The lights in this very busy colony show a great disregard  for any kind of  power cuts.Lights going now and then, tvs switching off and going going into every corner of the problem.Other colony members playing pranks of ghosts cause a great havoc for the daily people.
Some of the leading newspapers in the area last day photographs of a police officer pluging out the electric wire.Need i say more?
We have faith in you and fully understand that there are some dedicated employees in your company who are working day and night to ensure our safety in every sphere.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Yours sincerely,
your name

The Editor-in-chief,

The Hindustan Times,

Subject: Frequent load shedding for three months in Kailash Colony.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed national newspaper, I would like to express my concern on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Kailash Colony.

I am surprised that in spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and the locality of Kailash Colony continue to face frequent load shedding for the last three months. Due to this the people of this locality are facing much hardship.

Further, both parents and their children are very concerned with the frequent power cut as the annual final exams will commence soon. Both teachers and students are also compelled to stay in their class rooms bear the extremely hot summer days without fans. There are several cases of students who suffered dehydration and were admitted to the hospital. The hospital authorities too have confirmed this and the complete data can be obtained from them.

It must also be noted that it is the common people, the low income and hand to mouth groups of people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy solar panels or generators.

I therefore request the power department and the authorities to look into the matter immediately and restore uninterrupted supply of power to this locality at the earliest.

Yours sincerely,

Neelima

Kailash Colony.
