My English tercher said that in a debate writing we should write for supporting and for opposting.But here in the study material,they are saying that we should write only for one-supporting or opposting.Which can I beleave?

In an actual dibate you should write both opposing and supporting materials....

just do it the way your teacher says in every debate writing in your school

if its for performance outside school i.e non academic do it as in the study material
