Let the edge be x SA=6x^2 Edge increased by 10% Edge increase=10/100*x=x/10 New edge= 11x/10 New SA=6(11x/10)^2=726x^2/100 SA increase=726x^2/100-6x^2=126x^2/100 Percent increase=SA increase/Original SA*100=126x^2/100/6x^2*100=126x^2/100*6x^2*100=21%
