Ali's only daughter Miriam was married and she left him and went out of the town with her husband.He then thought about the birds ant their sorrows when they are part form there young ones that he had hunted.He then lost his cheer that he attained by hunting birds.So he gave up hunting.
Ali was a very good hunter. All his life, he had hunted animals and enjoyed it. But when his daughter married, he felt very lonely. He loved his daughter very much. He realised hoe it feels to get separated from the loved ones. During this entire time, he had hunted many animals and separated many young animals from their parents. Now he understood the pain of the parents whose young ones had been hunted. He came to a conclusion thta entire universe is build up to love and grief of separation is inescapable. This realisation made him quit hunting.
