C+T = 3-->(1)
1/4C+T= 1.2 --(2)

(1) - (2)

3/4 C = 1.8

1/4 C = 1.8/3 = 0.6

Therefore T = 1.2 - 0.6 = 0.6 

Weight of tin = 0.6 //
