Question is rise in unemployment - not rice.
Many reasons.
1. Rural people/youth seem to be not skilled enough for jobs that are available.
2. There are not enough jobs for the skills that rural youth possess.
3. There are not enough jobs in villages or rural areas for employing local youth.
4. development is taking place in urban and non rural areas only. so requirement of
jobs is not much in villages.
5. employing local youth may be done by national or state govt. when projects are
taken near rural areas.
6. rural youth may not be rich enough to get higher skills or education
7. rural youth may not be aware of employment opportunities around the state or country
8 rural youth may not want to shift away from their local place
9 there may be lack of rain or water in an area, which causes jobs less, as agriculture is not possible.
