Deltas are common on the East coast of India. There are many rivers joining the Bay of Bengal. They flow from west to East, so we have deltas in that region.  There are many estuaries - mouths of rivers joining the seas or oceans.

On the west coast however, there are no deltas.  But there are many estuaries - where rivers big and small meet the Arabian sea.  Further, we have many headlands, bays and lagoons. This is the difference between the West Coast and the East Coast of India.   There is an effect of neotectonics - movement of plates of Earth's crust.  This is also different.
